Music for your inward journey
Music plays a central role in shaping the quality of shamanic and journeying experiences. Beyond personal taste, carefully designed soundscapes can guide emotions, provide comfort, and enhance therapeutic outcomes. Inner Flight Music is created with this in mind. The soundscapes are split into phases that mirror the typical trajectory of deep, inward travel: preparation, ascent, peak, descent and integration. These phases (and the emotional states associatead with them) provide the structure for our series of therapeutic audio journeys. Through combining supportive frequencies, binaural beats, and a subtle, non-intrusive narration, inner flight music provides a structured roadmap – leading you to rewarding outcomes.
What you receive
Inner Flight Music is available to both individuals and healing practitioners. Individuals can download soundscapes from the products page, including mixes over 5 hours long. These encompass the duration of a deep sound healing experience. They lead you from a pre-flight 432Hz meditation, through the ascent, peak, and descent phases, and finish with a binaural beat integration. Practitioners can purchase the music under license. This gives you access to a complete soundscape bundle, a year’s free access to our premium Patreon tier (including a growing audio library) and unlimited professional use of our music. Whether you provide a breathwork retreat, guide journeys, run yoga sessions or offer a sound healing service, Inner Flight Audio can elevate you and your practice.

How Music Shapes Inner Travel
Studies at Johns Hopkins University and other research centres show that music is not just background—it actively shapes the therapeutic process. Participants often describe music as a “guide” that helps them navigate complex emotions and insights. Inner Flight Music is designed with this in mind. Unlike playlists, our seamless soundscapes keep you rooted in the experience, the layered textures and binaural elements encouraging deep introspection. Tailored for healing, they promote relaxation, emotional release, and deep connection. Our music encourages the following :

Emotional release during peak intensity.

Grounding during challenging moments.

Integration of insights

The setting of therapeutic goals
How Binaural Beats and Healing Frequencies Work
Binaural beats are an auditory phenomenon that occurs when two slightly different frequencies are played separately into each ear through headphones. Your brain doesn’t hear these tones as separate sounds—instead, it perceives a third “beat,” which is the difference between the two frequencies. This process is linked to brainwave entrainment, where the brain’s natural rhythms begin to synchronize with the frequency of that perceived beat. Different frequency ranges are associated with various mental states, such as relaxation, focus, or deep meditation. Inner Flight Audio incorporates Alpha Wave Binaural Beats into our pre-flight meditations and Delta Wave binaural beats into our integration soundscapes. Alpha Waves enourage a relaxed, meditative mind-set that prepares you mentally for inner exploration. Delta Waves are associated with restoration, the perfect accompaniment to integrative work.
Music recorded at 432Hz
As well as incorporating Binaural Beats, Inner Flight Audio record all our music at 432Hz. Music recorded at 432Hz has a warmer, more natural resonance that feels deeply calming to the listener. While the standard modern tuning is 440Hz, some musicians and sound practitioners believe that 432Hz aligns more closely with the body’s natural rhythms and the patterns found in nature, creating a more harmonious listening experience. In sound healing contexts, it’s associated with promoting relaxation, emotional balance, and a sense of inner peace. We believe that music tuned to 432Hz feels softer and more immersive, making it especially suited for meditation, reflection, and restorative practices.
